Just had to share, because my heart is exploding! Early last year Brenden and I built a really close relationship with our beautiful next door neighbour. We took the time to learn her story of being a single mother with two amazing boys (one has autism), and gave her a hamper of yummie goodies, a massage voucher and a Hillsong CD. We invited her along to church a few times, and she hadn't responded to coming yet... Until one day last year, she told me that she went and checked it out on Vision Sunday. She loved it and her boys loved it! Not only that, she was so happy to see her gorgeous boy Ben with autism feel loved and have a sense of belonging in the few times he has visted the kid's church, he even sometimes likes sitting in the service with her. Then at the beginning of this year she came to the Sisterhood launch with me for the first time. She raved about it, and even brought a friend! She later messaged me to let me know that she was applying for a job that will allow her to go to SIsterhood each week! She got the job! And it gets better! Last nigth she told me that she is coming to her FIRST COLOUR because one of the beautiful women in our church that she has made friends with gave her a registration! I am super pumped! I praise God for her so much, she is a hero, friend, sister and a world changer!!
