The Lord revealed to me many years ago that when you’re talking about God’s grace, you’re talking about HIS FAVOUR. God’s grace is His unmerited favour in our lives.
That is so important to you and me because there are some things going on in our world today that only the favour of God will overcome. Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:1 that, in the last day’s perilous times shall come.
When the favour of God is on your life, failure and defeat are never final. If you are determined that you will never give up and if you are willing to wait for the favour of God to manifest, God will make a winner out of you every time. The favour of God is the difference between failure and success.
I’m not saying that if you ever tap into the favour of God you’ll never be faced with another challenge. That’s not what I’m saying. The early church had challenges, Abraham had challenges. Paul had challenges. I am not saying that the favour of God will prevent you from having challenges. I am saying the favour of God will prevent you from being conquered by them. The favour of God will keep you from being defeated by them. The favour of God will keep you from failing in the midst of those challenges.
Jesus tells us in Mark 11:23, For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
I have faith in the favour of God. Every time a challenge begins to rise up against me, I begin speaking words of faith and specifically words of faith regarding the favour of God. Activate your faith today and determine right now that no mountain can stand against God’s favour in your life.
I want to share with you the 10 major benefits that I've discovered from the Word of God for those who walk in God's divine favour. These are benefits you can expect when the favour of God is on your life. Study and confess them every day. God confirms His Word when we are bold to declare it.
10 Benefits of the Favour of God:
1. Favour produces supernatural increase and promotion. (Genesis 39:21)
2. Favour produces restoration of everything that the enemy has stolen from you. (Exodus 3:21)
3. Favour produces honour in the midst of your adversaries. (Exodus 11:3)
4. Favour produces increased assets, especially in the area of real estate.
(Deuteronomy 33:23)
5. Favour produces great victories in the midst of great impossibilities. (Joshua 11:20)
6. Favour produces recognition, even when you seem the least likely to receive it. (1 Samuel 16:22)
7. Favour produces prominence and preferential treatment. (Esther 2:17)
8. Favour produces petitions granted even by ungodly civil authorities. (Esther 5:8)
9. Favour causes policies, rules, regulations and laws to be changed and reversed to your advantage. (Esther 8:5)
10. Favour produces battles won which you won't even fight because God will fight them for you. (Psalm 44:3)
Now, if you truly believe that the favour of God is greater than your mountain then it’s also important that you begin to thank God on a daily basis for His Favour working in your life. Thank Him every day for increased favour.
Continually praise Him for the divine favour that is on your life. The Psalmist said in Psalm 86:15, But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious. The word gracious here means a God that is favourable or is disposed to show favour.
There’s one thing that you’ll always notice about the Psalmist David. He was constantly praising God for His goodness, His mercy, His grace and His favour that was on his life. You and I should be the same in our thanksgiving and praise. Constantly praise God for His favour.
I want to challenge you to watch for God’s favour. Expect it, believe that it’s going to manifest every day of your life and when it does, no matter how small it may seem, give God praise for it. Immediately declare, “That’s the favour of God!”
