Tyler may just be the sweetest & is definitely the tallest of all the Douglass kids... he is currently completing his final year in high school and was elected as school captain which, amongst many things, provides him with the opportunity to make Jesus known in his high school. He is affectionately known in our church as our little 'miracle kid' when he survived drowning as a toddler and all odds were against him. We think God had bigger plans for him. He now leads worship at Hillsong Youth weekly and is a key part of our Y&F movement. I asked him to share his expectation for JAM Y&F.

Since I can remember, Hillsong Conference has always played a significant part in my walk with Jesus. The early mornings, the late nights and the McDonalds lifestyle is the initial thought that comes to mind when I think of Hillsong Conference.
But it's much, much bigger than that.
The messages that are preached and the worship that takes place at conference is something different and extraordinary. I can cast my thoughts back to Hillsong Conference last year, where I had never felt the presence of God so evidently before as I did on the last night in Allphones arena… thousands of people cried out "I surrender" in unity. Another great memory of Hillsong Conference was in 2010, where T.D. Jakes brought such a powerful word on the last night, Freedom from your Past, which still has an impact on me today.
Amongst these great moments, and many more, I have no doubt that Hillsong Conference 2013 is going to be the best one yet... especially for the youth.
For the first time ever, Hillsong Young & Free will be taking over JAM completely, and let it be known; we have some very cool surprises planned! And that's not just for JAM Y&F.
Out of all the expectations I have for Hillsong Conference this year, the one that I think tops the list would have to be seeing the youth of this generation being set free through the the praise and worship and preaching that will take place at JAM Y&F. I hope you'll be around to witness it.
