Currently there’s a trend with anchors - from necklaces, clothing and even a wedding I went to recently where the invitation design was based off of an anchor. Many submissions for ‘The eXchange Film and Arts Festival’ have been rolling in the past few weeks with the main object being an anchor.
I personally like anchors and when I think about it from the perspective of Hebrews 6:19 [NIV] I like them even more: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure...”
One definition for an anchor is: “A person or thing that can be relied on for support, stability, or security.”
This is so true about God. We can 100% rely on Him. He holds us up when we can’t stand, He keeps us stable when everything else seems to be falling apart and He will keep us safe in times of danger.
