Carl Lentz
Carl recently wrapped up 7 years of ministry at Wave Church. Before that, he had moved to Australia to pursue biblical training at Hillsong College, which quickly turned into the pursuit of his now wife, Laura, an Australian. Carl claims that Laura is the second greatest Aussie import of all time, only topped by Tim-Tam cookies. Both Carl and Laura embrace a simple, dedicated faith in Jesus and are passionate about delivering the gospel in a method that makes sense to a generation that is desperately seeking a cause that is greater than themselves. He counts it as an honor to lead the first ever Hillsong Church in the United States of America and plans on spending the rest of his life loving life, loving Jesus, loving people and building Hillsong New York City. Lee Burns
Lee was born and raised on the coast of Newcastle Australia. After completing high school he began a carpentry apprenticeship. Lee worked in carpentry for 6 years; during this time became a Christian. In 1997 began studying at Hillsong International Leadership College, graduating with a Diploma in ministry. Lee and his wife Cherie began working as pastors in the New Peoples ministry of Hillsong Church in 1999. Adam Moore
Adam is the Online Media Publicist at Hillsong Church. He was born and raised in Canada but is now happy to call Sydney his home. Adam’s Twitter bio states “I am the greatest man that ever lived”. While this may be debatable to some, what’s not is the fact he’s brilliantly funny and really quite charming. He has a background in Graphic Design and New Media, which is a great asset to the success and sustainability of Hillsong Collected. He loves hearing and telling the stories of people helping people and is committed to providing inspiring content to this blog.
